Torah mantel
0.00₪This Torah Mantel design is dedicated to tolerance and peace both.
The book of Proverbs [Mishly] contains this wonderful verse, which sums up the essence of the Torah ” Her ways of pleasantness and all her paths are peace”. I’m using this verse in Hebrew.
Another ornament quotes in Hebrew “Peace on Israel”.The words “Shalom Al Israel” are repeated several times in the prayers.and express the tow meanings of Peace, the one between the 12 tribes of Israel and between Israel enemies.the words founded in archaeological findings in the ancient synagogue near Jericho.
I used two kinds of metal; Copper and Brass, and Linen.
These materials symbolize the hardness and stubbornness of the people of Israel, mixed with a great deal of compassion and clemency.
The motive of the twelve mountain-goats on the upper part of the mantel, is directly associated with the desert, where they became committed to the rules of the Torah.

Trees of Eden Menorah, Patinated
0.00₪The Israeli artist ,Shraga Landesman, presents his work: The inspiration for my
work comes from several sources: the Bible, archaeological finds in Israel,
memories from childhood, and nature. We can see examples of these sources in
this ‘Trees Menorah’ or: ‘Garden of Eden’ Menorah. we see two trees: the tree of life
and the tree of knowledge. The antelope near the Tree of Life symbolizes the
material world. The bird by the Tree of Knowledge symbolizes the spiritual world.
The driving force behind this creation is the question as to why trees were created
on the sixth day, and not on the day the rest of the plants were created. In my
opinion, the answer lies in the text itself. The two verses dealing with the creation
of Man and the creation of trees on the sixth day are close together, and at the end
is written “to know good or bad”, which is, in fact, a major part of our lives. ‘Trees
Menorah’ made of Brass cast patinated. Size: 22 X 29 X10 cm. *This menorah will be

Tzedakah box – song of songs
0.00₪“The song of songs of Charity”
The alms box designed in the shape of a barley seed section decorated with spikes was inspired by the book of Ruth, also called “Song of Songs of Charity”.
In the Book of Ruth we find a special kind of charity. Boaz invites Ruth to glean in his field and asks her not to glean in someone else’s field. Ruth returns to her mother in law, Naomi, and tells her where she gleaned the barley. She says: “The name of the man I spent the day with is Boaz” (Ruth 2/19).
The Midrash says: It is explained in the name of Rabbi Yoshua, that more than the Owner does for the poor, the poor does for the owner. That is why Ruth said: “The name of the man I spent the day with” and not “who spent the day with me” .

Birds necklace
0.00₪Birds necklace designed by the israeli artist Shraga Landesman.
The design and the story of this necklace featured diffrent kinds of birds and the bible quote in a
circle padent that hang on body by a silver chain;
‘;Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times’; and the turtle and the crane and the
swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD.
(Jeremiah 8, v7, King James Translation)
Each year in mid-February, the Common Swifts arrive in our area to nest. One of the nesting sites
the swifts have chosen is the Western Wall. Swifts don’t nest in trees; they nest in cracks and
crevices in buildings and walls. I find it moving to know that the migration pattern of these birds
was observed thousands of years ago, and that when Jeremiah used this metaphor as he tried to
return the People of Israel to their path, he might even have been looking at the Western Wall. -

Hamsa Ben Porat Josef Wall Hanging
0.00₪Hamsa ben porat Josef wall hanging designed by the israeli artist Shraga Landesman
“Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall”(Genesis 49:22, King James Version)
This is the blessing Jacob gives to Joseph before his death. We find this verse written on amulets from the first century, and with good reason. In Talmudic times, Talmudic sages taught that Joseph and his descendants were protected against the Evil Eye; that is, the Evil Eye has no power over them. The Talmud compares Joseph’s descendants to fish in the sea—the water covers them, so the Evil Eye can’t control them. So it is for Joseph’s descendants, too: the Evil Eye can’t control them. -

‘Jeremiah’s prophecy’ necklace
0.00₪‘Jeremiah’s prophecy’ necklace designed by the israeli artist Shraga Landesman.
The design and the story of this necklace comes by a spiral shape with a quote from Jeremiah's
prophecy inside a circle padent that hang on body by a silver chain.
I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth (Jeremiah 2:2, King James)
In Jeremiah’s first prophecy, I love the metaphor the prophet uses to describe the deepening
relationship between the partners who are living on memories of shared experiences from the
past. The spiral in this work describes the 40 years of wandering in the desert as a time of bonding, and
the 12 palm trees represent the 12 tribes. -
